Too good to be true
More trips, more memories
The average car owner uses their car for an average of 14 trips per week, resulting in 588 total trips, including work and leisure. Our model has the potential to increase this number to a staggering 5000. This means more memories of going-out for the people. Moreover, regular car owners rarely go on trips with 3-5 people, meaning 90% of the rides take place with only 1-2 passengers.
Less waste, more savings
A single electric car uses equivalent energy to almost 3 minicars in the city center. This means that 2 potential trips are going down the drain in a single regular city ride. Our innovative approach optimizes an unlimited amount of single-car parking spaces, accommodating 3 mini cars, enhancing energy efficiency, and facilitating comfortable mobility for city center residents.
More parking spaces, more private mobility
Only 1 out of 10 people in a neighborhood can accommodate a car near their house with sole ownership. This means 9 out of 10 need to bike in the rain and wind or stay at home. With our solution, this number will increase to 1 out of 2 after 1 year, and 10 out of 10 in 15 years.
Numbers are estimated based on an average Amsterdam street with 42 blocks, 5 houses per block, and 2 residents per house. Hence, 420 residents in total.
Cheaper parking, higher government revenue
By generating 3 times more parking spaces, the government is able to reduce parking fees by 77% while retaining the same revenue. If they are decreased by 20% in the new system, the system now generates +200% more revenue.
